Antimicrobial catheter lock solution
NutriLock™ prevents the formation of bacterial biofilm and thereby keeps catheters infection-free.
The lock solution is recommended for catheters in parenteral nutrition.
NutriLock™ contains 2 % Taurolidine.
This substance has a broad antimicrobial activity against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria (incl. MRSA and VRE) and fungi (e.g. Candida).
