The Altius CVC Range is a portfolio of sterile, single-use central venous catheter kits from Kimal, designed to provide access to the central venous system for administration of vasoactive/inotropic drugs, incompatible medications, hypertonic solutions including total parenteral nutrition, frequent blood sampling, blood transfusion, and central venous pressure measurement.
The range includes Altius Classic, Altius, Altius HP, Altius ProActiv+, Altius ProActiv+ HP, Altius High Flow, and related high-flow / pressure-resistant configurations.
The Altius CVC range is designed around specific clinical needs, with each model offering a distinct advantage. Altius Classic provides a traditional CVC configuration supplied with insertion kit accessories and Kimal’s Multi-Tube™ technology for uniformly round lumens and smooth flow performance.
Altius adds color-coded lumens and integrated LuerSafe® / hemostatic valve technology, helping maintain a closed system and supporting safer line management.
Altius ProActiv+ features a chlorhexidine-free, non-leaching antimicrobial coating based on PHMB and PEG, providing antimicrobial protection for up to 30 days.
Altius HP includes a dedicated purple high-pressure distal lumen marked “PRESSURE”, enabling contrast media administration up to 300 psi and 10 ml/sec.
Altius ProActiv+ HP combines antimicrobial protection with high-pressure contrast delivery in one catheter.
Altius High Flow is designed for high fluid administration rates, while maintaining the round-lumen benefits of Multi-Tube™ technology.
